Berlin-based experience designer and researcher with 8+ years of experience in the field of UX. I’m a communication & multimedia designer by trade, with a background in media production.

I’m passionate about solving complex problems with digital, data-enabled solutions in an industry context. I love working with scientists, engineers and nerds. I also enjoy mentoring young professionals and leading small teams.

I design digital products and services by facilitating interdisciplinary collaboration, building and testing prototypes, and delivering with an agile, experience-led approach.

In my personal life, I’m a DIY enthusiast, sewing, stitching, drawing all year around. In case you're curious, "maimeise" is my internet pseudonym—a fictional bird name.
